Our mission
Our mission is to ensure students living in student accommodation are getting the most out of their university experience. We at STUDENTLIFE provide student accommodations with fully managed events with a variety of features from catering/drinks, trivia and themed nights, movie nights. We equip student accommodations with all the necessary equipment and will come in to set up ready for your residents. At STUDENTLIFE we believe that the best way to engage and interact with each other is through relaxed and engaging experiences which is the reason for me creating this business. Not only will this ensure students are getting the most out of their time with you. It has also proven to be beneficial in the fact that the number of students returning to the accommodation increased by 25%.
What we offer
We at STUDENTLIFE have developed this company since as students we have seen firsthand how limited the engagement and socialisation between students in accommodations is, we looked for different ways to meet and engage with other students but found that most accommodations do not have a way for students to engage with each causing the student experience to be poor. We have found that the best way for this to be achieved is through a relaxed and comfortable environment.
We have spoken to a lot of different students from different backgrounds and different social circle and have accumulated a variety of different ways to increase the engagement of students.
When speaking to students we found that in their accommodation there isn’t really a hub where students can all get together and just enjoy themselves. We asked what could be done to achieve this and from out feedback we had an idea.
The Idea
A monthly ran event where all students get together and for a night just enjoy themselves. There will be several different things to do, from trivia night to a bar and party.
Some things we offer are:
· Movie night, with a huge outdoor/indoor screen showcasing movies selected by the students. Along with a snack cart and popcorn machine to really give students that cinema experience.
· Trivia night, this activity not only enables students to have a good time but to also get to know their peers and creating lifelong friendships. Offering prizes to the winners.
· Themed night, we will run a poll of a theme for students to select from and student would come dressed up and ready to party from that era.
· Bar and party, we know students love going out and having a good time so we thought why not bring the party to the students, cultivating a space environment where students can blow off some steam and really party and get to know their peers.
· Karaoke/open mic, what good is a party without some karaoke, allowing students to be themselves and not have to think about their studies.
· Variety of different games and team building experiences, from escape rooms, scavenger hunts etc, these will encourage students to participate in activities with people who they might not have spoken to otherwise.
· 360 camera booths.
These are just a selection of what we offer, and we can create a personalised package for what you accommodation needs.
How it works
Once we have cultivated and created your package, we will come in and set up everything, our staff will fully manage everything and ensure everything runs smoothly. We would set up all the different activities ready for students, we will ensure all students are involved and have an amazing time.
After the event, we would clean up everything and ensure the accommodation is back to how it usually is at the quickest possible time ready to have it running smoothly as usual.
